Easy to guess this comes from the 4th of July fireworks celebration -

experienced them in a different way though - We had gone for the Rockies-Mets game at Coors Field - after the game they have fireworks - a few rows are susceptible to falling of' firework debris' ( says the fire safety department to all including me in the crowd who has grown up with diwali fireworks in India and also experienced the debris once straight into the forehead)

so they moved all the people from those rows right on to the FIELD. enjoying the feeling of being on the field - we were lying down on the best mowed grass ever and watching the fireworks - its was wonderful ! the weather was pleasant too!
