'conservative' people in any culture or part of the world... have one thing in common...
... they don't like food or even don't like to try different cuisines that's are out of their comfort 'cultural' zone...

Hmm... I guess it can be used as a very rough/crude way to 'judge' if a person is conservative :)
so true... never thought of it the other way round - but if meeting someone for the first time at a meal - that would be a good means to judge!!!
